Notes
An EV charger is available for your use. It is mounted to the garage for easy access.
There is an unfenced pond on the other part of the property. There is NO GUEST ACCESS to this part of the property or to the pond area.
We ask that you please drive slowly on the gravel driveway (10 MPH). This helps prevent potholes and washboards on the shared driveway.
The driveway gate operates with push buttons on each side of the gate.
DO NOT STOP in the swing path of the gate.
We provide wood for the pizza oven.

Neighborhood
Our fenced yard is not fully secure, so please do not leave your pet in the yard while you are off the property. We cannot be responsible for your dog getting loose. Our neighbors are farmers and do not take kindly to dogs running loose on the island and on their property.
We have neighbors behind our home though the forest obscures the view. They are closer than you think so please be mindful of late night fun in the backyard. Thanks!!
Please turn all exterior lights off when you go to sleep. Be mindful of light pollution and dark skies at night once you are back inside!
Access
You do not have access to the separate garage though the EV Charger is located on the outside of the garage next to the blue rowboat. Guests are welcome to plug in their electric cars.
You do not have access to the rest of the 5-acre property, which includes outbuildings, storage areas, animal pastures, and a cabin where the owners live during the summers.
You do not have access to the garden.
Space
The upstairs living room has views of two ponds and Turtleback Mountain. The downstairs family room has the TV and a ground-level exit.
Fenced yard with plenty of parking.
Large west-facing deck plus a small deck outside the upstairs main bedroom with a new hot tub.
UPSTAIRS:
You enter the house on the uphill side and go up 5 steps to the living room with picture-window views of Turtleback Mountain.
The open-plan kitchen has an induction stove, plenty of counter space, and the window over the sink has the same beautiful territorial views as the living room. The kitchen is set up for cooking with all the pots & pans & utensils you will need.
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. The main suite is at the end of the hallway, with its own small deck, hot tub, and bathroom.
Two regular bedrooms are on either side of the hallway, one facing west and the other east.
There's a shared bathroom with two sinks and a "someday-it-will-be-vintage" blue bathtub.
DOWNSTAIRS:
The staircase down leads you to the family room with a TV. Sliding doors provide another way to get in and out of the house.
Next to it is a laundry room with a large-capacity washer and dryer as well as a small 1/2 bath.
Across from the laundry is a third regular bedroom.
OUTDOORS:
The house has a large deck on the west side with views of Turtleback Mountain. It's accessible from the living room and from the outside via a short set of stairs by the entry door.
On the west side of the house, we have a flagstone patio, which is a great spot for finding shade and for outdoor eating. There’s a big propane grill with a side burner. The wood-fired pizza oven is here, too. It’s a big favorite with guests. (We have easy instructions for using it, and we provide wood and kindling. You can make your own dough or buy premade dough at Island Market.)
Lawns, planted areas, and fruit trees surround the house on 4 sides.
Near the house is a freestanding 2-car garage with a Level-2 EV charger. The garage itself is off-limits.
OTHER AREAS (not for guest use)
To the south of the house, beyond the fence with its grape arbor, is a garden. The garden is not included in the rental. Beyond the garden is an old barn used for storage and partly as a home office, and beyond that is the cabin where the owners live in the summer while the main house is rented.
