This shop offers very fine wines, beer, and cider at a range of prices, to suit any taste and any budget. Cole is highly knowledgeable about his selection, and I’ve learned a lot from his recommendations. Since I live close by on the mainland, I try to stop in three or four times a year to buy more of my favorites and to find something new and exceptional.

The Restaurant at Friday Harbor House
THE place to go for brunch on San Juan Island. My party of 6 came in on Mother’s Day without a reservation and they threw a table together for us. Our server Emma was so accommodating and friendly. The views are unbeatable. Highly recommend any dish with the potatoes as they are perfectly crispy. The jam is also amazing. The mimosas were also very good.
Captain’s Taproom
Great little spot right by the ferry with a wide selection of beers and wine. Great view, music, and chat.
Pro-tip go next door and ask them to bake you a pizza to go with your beers. Chloe is awesome.
